How To - Delegate Control for the Authentication User in Active Directory

1) Connect to the AD server.


2) Click on Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers.


3) Right-click on the domain (listed at the top of the tree), then click on Delegate Control....

4) Click on the Next button.

5) Click on the Add button.

6) Locate the Ldap Username.


7) Click on the OK button.

8) Click on the Next button.

9) Place a bullet next to Create a custom task to delgate.


10) Click on the Next button.

11) Place a bullet next to Only the following objects in the folder.


12) Place a checkmark next to User Objects.


13) Click on the Next button.

14) Under Show these permissions, place a checkmark next to General.


15) Under Permissions, place a checkmark next to Read.


16) Click on the Next button.

17) Click on the Finish button.
